My friend is getting ready to sell this car. It was a California car and it still has super nice original steel body panels, B7 exterior with black interior, pretty low option car drum brakes, no power steering, bench seat but it is an original 4 speed, dana, air grabber V code car. Non matching 440 HP engine. The fender tag is there but no build sheet found yet. Interior is nice and will have a new headliner and carpet soon. It was repainted a long time ago and the paint looks much better in the pictures then it is. Has correct 15" 390 wheels and all of the air grabber stuff. Car is now running and driving decent. What's a good starting price?

60k to 65k and would be 75 k if matching numbers. Anything under 60k is a deal.

I bought one earlier this year. B7, 440-6, Dana and paid $65. All matching. Power disc, buckets console with air grabber. Very nice car! Beautiful car! Enjoy!

He cleaned it up and was hoping it would buff out nice but it doesn't sound like it did. He is going to be listing the car in a week or two. I'm not buying it I was just trying to help him set an asking price. We are both more E-body guys. Thanks for the opinions so far.

Those cars are plus sized E Bodies! Lol Even if it needs paint, it's should still bring in the fifties. It is a V code Road Runner 4 speed, Dana air grabber car that doesn't need any metal work.

Agreed Pretty much anything multi carbs is $50k and up, way up as the desirability factor climbs . The better it makes on first impression the more it can sell for If it were mine, I would start high, maybe mid/upper 60s and see what happens PS,,,,,,A lot of the people I know looking for cars would actually prefer a original metal car over a numbers drive train anyday

I would be interested in this car if I didn’t buy one already. I would say mid to high 50s! Air grabber, 4 speed, great color and nice metal makes the difference on this V code car! Great car in my eyes!

Neat little car. I hope to get around to putting mine together at some point. My friend went through the engine for me and another friend is going to rebuild the T10 4 speed transmission for me,so it's kinda in the works. The hood on the 1970 is cool. I scored my AMX dirt cheap off the local Craigslist. It's very solid and was mostly complete except for the engine. I bought a complete 390 from a Moparts member.
