This season I went back to my old footbrake Duster, ran Pro Bracket at local track. Last year I retired and set a budget for racing, 12 races at local track, no travel, and new set of slicks. I only made it past the third round once all year, there are a lot of sharks racing at this track. Made 59 runs, had no breakage. Had a lot of fun just keeping it real simple, will do the same next year.

Won 19 rounds
Lost 17 rounds

Best ET 1/8th mile 6.503
Best ET 1/4 mile 10.310

Car is '72 Duster, ladder bar, 4.86 gear, 29 X 12.5 tire, pump gas 440 with Eddie heads, 727 manually shifted, weighs 2950 with driver.

Good for you! I wish those Eddy's were around when i wanted to upgrade waaay-back. They are a great alternative and keep things within there realistic limitations. Thanks for the update.

Yes it does, starts banging 7200 chip about 30 feet out. They run 1/4 mile class once a month on Sundays, I entered it twice.

Its brutal these days. I struggled this year. The thousandths just never seemed to fall my way. I'm thinking I might try something new next year.

I am leaving my muffs on this weekend and trying the street class. It would be nice to at least win a few rounds. My best et is exactly what yours is in the 1/8 . 3600 lb F Body small block with a ton of stroke. LOL
