I was digging looking for parts that I knew I had put somewhere and came across this jewel. I have older ones scattered around but I must have thought this one was too special to actually use lol. I would receive Gold Tool Awards for keeping the ASE certification as a master tech current and keeping up with ma Mopar continuous training. I started working at dealerships back in the late 70's, great (and some not so) memories. Does anyone know what was the first Gold Tool Award and what year? I think 1989 was a nice solder gun kit, I have it somewhere and I used the crap out of that tool. I think my brother has my drop light................. workThanks

i have a couple of gold micrometers, a zero to one inch, and a one inch to two inch.
they are marked "MTSC AWARD".
they look like starrett brand tools, but are marked "Chrysler Corporation, Made in U.S.A." on the barrels.
they were given to me by one of my machine shop bosses back in the mid 70's because he knew i was a mopar guy. i don't know if he ever told me where or when he got them.
i also have the 90,91, and 92 award tools, and may have a couple of others around here somewhere.

I got a set of gold 3/8 deep sockets which got relegated to the tool box for normal use along with the gold ratchet and extensions .

I have the swivel ratchet with sparkplug socket and a set of wrenches. 70's era. They have not been out of the bottom drawer for several decades.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I have some well used gold Bonney sockets & an extension - that I assumed were master tech awards from the late '60s/early '70s - I don't think they are stamped MTSC like these pictured on eBay, I'll have to take a look scope

No gold tool awards, but quite a few Master Parts awards that I still have stashed away, from when I worked in the parts departments decades ago. Clocks/glass sets/Mopar thermometer-barometer/etc.. and a stereo-speaker set, I still use in the garage 28 years later.

If I remember 1984 was a beeping circuit tester I have at work. Had the little ratchet set and used it a lot =(lost)

The wrenches were Snap-on and I use them.

I started with Mopar in the mid/late 80s time frame and had pretty much all of them up till late 90s.

Sold a bunch of them last year. But I do still have one or two
