Jim, I had to clearance both the Heads and the block. Not the greatest pictures but they were the best I could get with it assembled. I didn't use a mil, I think i just used a [censored] file and did it all by hand.

Was that the KB block?
Tell me if I am wrong, but those pictures look like the B1 head and the valve cover (cast?).

doh! your right, that is my B1 head and the cast valve covers.... yes this is with the KB block

i know not apples to apples but when i went to a TF270 head i had clearance issues and ended up grinding a ways on my Mopar cast covers and dist body a bit . No drama with 906 or stealth heads .

I was tinkering in my back garage today. And took some rough measurements of the height of my B1 heads and the stock iron 440 heads on my Daytona.
Wow, the stock heads are much lower, with the distributor body above the head. Remember the clearance cut I put on my B1 heads for the MSD billet distributor?
