I went to see a 68 Charger some older folks bought several years ago. Its a basket case, they don't know much about its past.

I looked at the fender tag and found something like a fender tag, the screws look like its been there a long time. Got someone's name on it, weird.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at.

looks like they bondoed the original tag & custom engraved it

If it is Bondoed, and it does appear to be, you should be able to turn it over and still read the back. Unless of course they did a real "professional" job and Bondoed both sides,

I noticed that after looking at other examples that it must be combined, had too many digits, not sure of my decoding with letters covered. Never did a 68 tag before, its different. The underneath will hopefully reveal the original.
