I was at a guy's place earlier this week. He showed me these two rears he got many years ago from an old guy. He said they date coded out to be a 62 and a 64. He said they both had power locks in them. He could not remember the ratio. I forget what housing was in them. the 62 has floater axles and the 64 has live axles. All axles are fine spline. Both have large brakes on them. BUT BOTH have these locating arms plus the leaf spring pad. What the heck??? What did they come out of??? A station wagon?

1965 was the first year Dodge and Plymouth switch from the old type axles to the current flange style axles.
I'm thinking there out of a C body, maybe a Imperial confused

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I was thinking a station wagon or something large. What has us at a loss are the stabilizer arms or tracking arms.

I forgot to mention that the bolt pattern is LARGE. 5" or so.

I had a 64 300, it did not have those brackets.

Nor did it have the 5 on 5 bolt pattern.

I've never seen that setup before, but I haven't seen everything either.

Here I was aggravated that Mopar went to that GM 5 on 5 pattern here in the last decade or so.....and you guys show me that Ma Mopar had that in the early sixties....interesting.....you learn something every day.....LOL
