I have a bucket of EvapoRust so I thought I'd soak the front leaf spring eyes to see if any paint markings were still there. These are 2835064 A-body springs off of the 68 Dart convertible 318 car. I read that these were used on 340s too in 68-69. Not sure on that though. Just thought I'd post this picture incase it helps someone else down the road. EvapoRust is magic.

In person the paint marks look tan/orange but in the picture the "tan" looks white. Both springs are the same part # and the orange paint is on the right side on both springs.

I'm not reusing these springs so I didn't soak them long. I was just curious if paint marks would still be visible. I have the back spring eyes soaking now to see if anything pops up.

My 1969 340 Dart came with the 064 leaf springs...
