Don't think I have seen a white one in person before.

I have the same car. Number 58 of 100. I love the thing. Like driving a go kart with a.c. I decided to trade my 70 challenger vert with a Hemi in it. The Vipers should hold their value in the future but who knows. The one we traded for only had 3700 mi on it. I now have 4800 mi on it in after a couple months. The big 528 hemi was a blast to romp on but the Viper is no slouch in the power dept either. No regrets so far.

Nice. I would love to go for a ride in one with an experienced driver. Way fun I bet.

Years ago someone here spun a yellow one on the freeway and backed it into the wall and wiped it out. Too much car if your not careful.

I remember when they were first introduced in 91 a lot of them were wrecked shortly after purchase and several people died in the wrecks. Not Toys for inexperienced drivers twocents beer

I just bought an 08 Coupe. I agree that it’s like a go cart with A/C. Plenty of power. The Viper prices are starting to go up. I think a good investment.

I used to drive an 08 Snakeskin green with snakeskin stripes, it was a blast but the exhaust note takes a lot to get used to... twocents

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Yes the Viper can be a handful. I only scared myself once so far. I got on it on a concrete surface that transitioned to asphalt. When I crossed the transition the rear end broke loose and wiggled. I had a respect for the car all along but now it's even deeper. The Big Hemi in the Challenger would smoke the tires all day, but the Short wheelbase and quick steering on the Viper makes it a different beast to handle.

I agree on the exhaust note. I love the deep rumble of a big block Mopar. My Viper has aftermarket pipes, but it only sounds decent with a few rpm's 2500 on up. At least to my ear.

The "sound" is the only thing keeping me from using the assembly line crate V10 I have. And being a late gen1 it maybe dependable but not a race winner.

But Id take a whole car and deal with the sound.

I like the exhaust pops on deceleration. But agreed, the big V10 sounds mild to say the least.
