Just picked up this Black 2008 dodge ram 1500 regular cab short box 4 x 4, TRX4 off-road edition. Not sure I’ve ever seen one and after doing some research it seems like there isn’t a whole lot of them out there. Fun truck though! New tires in the last pic!

thanks Larry ! that thing has come a long way since i hauled it out of the south carolina swamp it was in. hindsight always being 20/20, i should have left it there ! the only thing left of the truck is the basic body. i built the entire chassis and front and rear suspension, and a very good friend of mine did a ton of work on the body to get it where it is, way back in 1980. as the body was worse than ruff, the plan is to leave the finish as is, while perfecting the chassis and running gear, and making the interior nice, but all business. i hope i can get it going under it's own power before i croak.

My truck was originally my back and forth to work, stripped down, slant six manual shift transportation. Later when it was retired I added a 440, T-Flite, narrowed 8 3/4, lowered, factory air, power windows, cruise control, tilt wheel and anything else I could find in the junk yard that my truck didn't have.

1995 Dakota Sport out of Florda. Stock high mile but good running 318. No plans for a nice paint job or built 360 and 727 yet but I do have some parts accumulated. In the meantime, it looks tough.
Keep old mopars alive.

...had a smooth 23-hr ride to bring home this 2014 Ram 4500 - nice low mile machine. Once I fab the dovetail flatbed we're gonna thoroughly enjoy it as our family crawler hauler - kinda-sorta like this -
