Weird question but.. I have a 72 up duster hood but 70 hinges, I need a pic of the bolt holes on the hinge. They went from sliders in the hood to a stationary piece so I need to see how to modify the old hinge. Any help would be appreciated.

the first thing i would do is check the bolt patterns of both the hood and hinges to see just how close [or far off] they may be.
if the width of the hood bolt holes matches the hinge bolt pattern, i would grab a buddy and bolt on the hood, then lower it [very] carefully, taking note of how it needs adjusting. it may be fairly close.
if so, you can see how much the hinge holes need slotted, which way [forward or backward], and proceed accordingly.
i'm thinking the hood bolts are 3/8", so you would want the slots to be 7/16 or 1/2" in diameter, or whatever the hinge bolt holes are.
it may turn out to be closer than you think it now is.
please let us know how it turns out. pics would be a plus.

Didn’t realize I had a 72 Duster parts car out back. Big difference in hood and hinges, 71 and back have a sliding brackets (up down forward and back) in the hood and hinges are just a hole. The 72 and up plates are fixed in the hood and brackets have 1” x 1/2” slots and adjustments are with the bracket where as the 71 adjustments are in the hood. Why Chrysler changed I have no clue. I made my 70 hinge slotted to match the 72 ones (to hard to take off with fender still there). No biggy
