Considering selling my grill. What's a fair price. It's a 7 out of 10 IMO ??

Couple more pics. It has a crack and a small piece missing plus the usual tabs where the headlight bezels attach are broke off. I do have the chrome trim for the top and bottom that is in good shape. Overall it's complete. One turn signal lens is missing one screw tab. Don't think I missed anything.
Thanks for any help.

Yep, $500.00 part value. The shipping is the killer on some deals!!

$500 might be a stretch. It looks to be missing the bezel mounts and the upper and lower trim pieces. Yes, it’s all reproduced but it adds up. I seen one like this with the trim sell for $400. But maybe someone will just have to have it? Try $500 and see.

Looks like the majority think $500 is fair. Thanks for the input.

If I were you, I wouldn't take anything less than $500 for it. Yes it has some issues, but nothing horrible...sharktooth (factory original) grilles don't grow on trees. Yeah you can buy a repop, but it's just that...a repop, I would rather have an original grille any day of the week over a repop unit IMO. I have an original sharktooth grille on my '72 Duster, all there and complete with zero damage, just minor faded paint. If someone came up to me and offered $1,500 for it, I would say nope. twocents

I think the reproduction setups are about $1300 + any shipping, and I think their tabs are slightly different.
About 11 years ago I bought a bunch of used ones & restored them so I'd have one for my car at a good net price.
Paid around 400-650 then with cracks but no missing bits & needing paint.
They came out nice - masking & painting was a whole day on each one - and they sold for 900-1100, with everyone happy.
The repops at that time were the saggy ones.

I paid $800.00 for a very nice original, but had to paint the black parts. Very intense masking before paint, I wouldn't want to do it again. This was when the reproductions were the junk ones that would sag in the sun and heat.

I think the reproductions now don't have sagging issues.

Since the introduction of the NICE reproduction including correct stampings, part number etc why fool around with attempting to "restore" one and then not be happy? Yes it's a grand. But what is your time worth?
