The 170’s seem to do it for common hose. They actually end up being pretty handy to have around.
Use those way more than the 157’s
157 would be something like thinner nylon hose.

Interesting, I've only seen them in industrial applications. OSHA compliant, you know. That’s just what I’ve used for 3/8 for machinery in a past job that were Oediker brand. I bought them from the industrial hose supply shop. Not sure what brand or number was on the original mopar stuff. I use them for function. They don’t cut the hose, stay tight forever, and don’t have a screw to scratch your hand. I also like ABA brand hose clamps. Nice stuff

Although not correct I like the clamps from Fragola because they make a nice clean job with their push-lock hose and fittings. I just use my CV boot clamp pliers to set the crimp. Gus
