I have an extra mystery 8-3/4 ring gear that I’m trying to identify? 8-3/4” diameter with 44 teeth. Only markings are “7304 G” and “8620” and maybe either a Dana or Spicer character/logo. I see that “8620” is the type of steel and that this is a street-use gear. Any ideas?

Thanks!

They make awesome ashtrays, bolt an old saw blade to to the bottom.

Well, maybe. I've mixed ring and pinions before and been able to get good service out of them

BUT, THEY WERE ALL THE SAME BRAND!

In this case, no matching pinion makes the ring useless.
