Anyone installed a modern hemi into a 62-65 B Body? See Mancini has spool mounts now for them.

With RB/Gen II Hemis know of ability to shift engine back about 1" and the later model B Body headers, etc. working. Was curious as to whether anyone might have tried this with the Holley 66-72 B Body engine mounts and a shift back.

Thanks in advance.

I have a gen 3 in a 65 Coronet. I used an engine plate but tried to move the engine back some. The firewall is very tight with the engine in the stock location. I left it in the stock small block location. The trans tunnel is tight and would need some modification if your using a 727.

If you install a '66-'70 K-member in the early B, I imagine all of the Holley swap parts would work. Massaging the tunnel pinch weld is necessary when moving the 727 back.

I have one in a 65 coronet that I did around 2007. I built my own engine brackets and used factory style insolators,I moved the pass. side frame mount to clear oil filter. I used the 2005 truck manifolds and later upgraded the engine and put TTI headers on it. My build has been carbuerated from the start with XV Motorsports single plane intake for years and recently put the OCP dual plane intake on it. Milidon oil pan. I don't think you would have to move the pass. side frame mount with the 45 degree oil filter adapter which I don't think was out when I did my swap.
