Can anybody local in the Dallas / Ft Worth area recommend an old Mopar friendly alignment shop? Somebody who knows and cares about these cars. This is for a 1970 Super Bee which has had the entire front suspension replaced or rebuilt. Upgrades include FFI Fast Ratio Pitman and Idler arms, QA1 upper control arms, and Hotchkis 1.10 torsion bars. So looking for an alignment with more focus on handling.

Thanks

What you're looking for may be hard to find. I ended up just getting one of these kits and it has worked out well for the Hotchkis suspension on my 'Cuda.

It's not a fast alignment process, but I can do it at home without worrying about someone messing with the car. 10,000 miles on my tires and they wear great.

Interesting, but they pretty much skip right over the caster part of the job in the videos. How does that work?

Wow..that's crazy. I live in a town of 70k....I could point the OP to half dozen(including myself) shops that could do that alignment and do it right. We just put QA1 upper arms on co-workers 69 Bee and lined it up...turned out great! Wish the OP was closer..I'd be happy to do it!

pdf download - caster

It's not going to be as great as a laser alignment, but I won't really let someone monkey with the older hotchkis UCAs that I have. They are ridiculously hard to adjust and I don't need someone getting frustrated and cross-threading something on me.

Thanks, looks to be simple to measure. Adjust though, might be a different issue there.

It work be a long haul for your but there is nobody better than Jim Sams in Tulsa. He personally owns tons of Mopars and really knows his stuff.

I think he ordered his Hellcat Challenger the day they came out!

Very fair on pricing as well.

I used to be a Goodyear only guy and went to Christensen Tire and Automotive. It's at Belt Line and Plano Rd in Richardson, TX. I've had tire repair, tires and balancing, alignment , brake checks on a few vehicles over the years. It's kind of a family owned business. They were plenty serious about car repair and maintenance. The one I most remember was my 318 Challenger which I rebuilt the front end on. It got a new steering box also, which didn't hurt a thing. They threw a nice alignment on that car. Power steering car - drove great, had good highway stability and handled quite nice for a stock setup.

I just had my Challenger done at Miller Muffler off Mill St in Lewisville. Ask for Nick.
