Considering going to the Moparty in Bowling Green Ky. Can anyone tell me a good place to stay, east of the track? A Mom and Pop place is fine by me.

There’s a couple of hotels at exit 28 that are ok, or at least they were 3 or 4 years ago. About 3 miles from the track.

There’s a small non chain place on Old Louisville Rd that looks ok when I drive by but I’ve never stayed there. About 2 miles from the track.

If I was coming to town for a car event, I would stay at the Holiday Inn/convention center on Wilkinson Trace or one of the hotels on Cave Mill Rd. That’s where the best after show cruising/activities usually end up. Those are both about 5 or 6 miles from the track.

Any of the hotels around here are ok, there really aren’t any in bad areas.
