When a alky car goes into tire shake, the stick on weight come off, almost everytime. So for us no weights.

I had a set of slicks that shook so hard at the 1000 foot that I couldn't see out of my eye glasses. A quickie bubble balance job is all it took to correct.

Same thing here, I bought a old bubble balancer at a garage sale just for that reason, so since they are off the car to have new slick's put on the rim's then I just do it and forget it and I use the duct tape on the weight's and have never lost one yet.

I don't quite understand this couple of burnout's and the slick is unbalanced train of thought I put the rim's and slicks on the same bubble balancer after close to 100 run's and the balance had not changed.
