Hello all, Haven't posted here for awhile so just giving an update on Diablo. Last year was completely ruined by Covid. This year we have a few events, but not a full season at all. Over the Winter we bought a Fiberglass Body and that was our big project; moving from the old steel body to a lift Fiberglass one. In the end we saved 400 pounds do this. Well since its truck pulling it just means we were able to move 400 pounds to the front of the truck, since our goal is to always be at 6200 pounds. Engine has stayed roughly the same for the last few years, just it's regular maintence. For those who don't know we run one of Goodwin Competitions Billet 5" 650 Hemi's. So this one is based of his own billet block and heads. This one is 1600+ Hp N/A on racing gas. Here are some recent videos of the truck. Both runs the truck ran around 8800-9000RPM. Enjoy Doug https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24fIXyyOCm0&ab_channel=TayCotehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxywthFNWBA&ab_channel=TayCote

I would probably have to have a several changes of under wear in the trailer also to be able to make more than one pull Good on YOU, have fun and kick some butt

I see the yellow springs that appear to be attached to the motor plate. Is that for dampening of the drivetrain when hopping when it's hooked yet bouncing? There is kind of the wierd reflection in the picture. They are connected to the fram the same way the blue set are (Just different strengths).

Awesome. The only thing cooler than a good sounding drag car running 9 seconds or better is a 1500+ horsepower super modified 4x4 running wide open for 14 seconds.
