I haven't bit the bullet on a new ignition system yet. But I have been siding with a MSD 6Al. But these ready to run systems look interesting. Anyone on here run this setup? I have Edelbrock Victor Jr Hemi heads and I'm not sure if these would clear the head. This is a steet/strip build shooting for bottom 10s on pump gas. Curious on how these perform and I really like the clean look of no ignition boxes and wiring.

Thanks for the reply Andy. Maybe I'll just go with at least a 6al then...

what about a Pertronix conversion for a factory distributor ?
i have done several of these, with the oldest being roughly 12 years old or possibly when they first came out with these kits.
all are on very mild [stock] engines that see no strip duty, but start and run great, even after sitting all winter.
the kits reside inside the distributor with only an extra 12v source wire added for start and run.
the thing i don't know, is how these kits react to high rpm or locked out timing.
beer

Has anyone tried the Progression Ignition programable distributor yet?
