Always a good guy here and was one of the more or less old timers. Very sad to hear of his passing.

Awful news. Prayers to his family and friends. I met him via Sunroofcuda at a Detroit area show. Jim was just the definitive all around nice guy. RIP Jim.

Its sad the available vaccines were not able to change the outcome. RIP. Had he taken the vaccination before contacting the virus ? My understanding is it has to be administered before contracting the virus. Regardless, RIP and many prayers to his family TJP, except for some underlying conditions already mentioned by Kidsixpack, he was fine until a week after his first vaccine - then he became very ill (that's the news I heard anyway). I'll keep my politics to myself, but I'll say I really wish he had not gotten the first shot!

The truth is that Jim had one shot, and was slated to have his second a week after he caught the bug at a work function. Two others caught it at the same time--the guy who was unvaccinated died (read: two people employed at that company are now deceased), while the other had one previous shot and is forever scarred in his respiratory system.
