Not a fan of white/cream colored wheels with chrome lugs, the lugs kinda get 'lost' on the light background. They don't 'pop' like with a dark (black) wheel.

Same deal with chrome rings, they need that darker background to stand out.

I'd keep the light wheels with the factory caps...style 2.

I love my Power Wagon too but it doesn't have A/C yet and gets a whopping 7 MPG. laugh2

What year is that, about an '83 I'm guessing? Still looks good for it's age.

82. 400, 4 speed with creeper 1st gear, 4:10 Dana, rubber floor, dual tanks that still work. Weird that it is an XL, but has AC and full gauges, though.

I like the 80-s ford body style but always avoided them due to the 80-s types smog sludge motors ford produced at the time.. I used to buy and flip a few as the cat/s would get clogged and any place that had a weak gasket would spit oil but was never motivated for an engine swap.

The wheels were painted a lighter argent silver stock.

#1's the only way to go. It makes a 3/4 ton look masculine not like one of those sissy 1/2 tons! grin

Number 1. I like to let the chrome nuts hang out so they can be seen, otherwise, what was the use of buying them?
I guess I've had too many issues with the dog dish caps, the trim rings, and the full caps.

Well I ordered them thinking about letting them show and maybe using the trim rings, but I don't care for the looks of the trim rings. But if nothing else I guess the closed lug nuts will help keep the threads from getting rusted. Everything rusts around here.

Not if you paint blue them as an Air Force truck.

I like the not_a_charger idea. Sorry I know that wasn't a choice but his Ford looks good like that and I think your truck would look really good like that with matching blue wheels and caps. Otherwise #2.

At least 22' diameter, a foot wide, chromed, so the truck looks like a radioactive skateboard - oh, and jack it up 6" or so.

No, just kidding, that's ridiculous.
Me, I'd run the silver or white wheels with hubcaps of the choices offered.
Or a later model factory alloy wheel.

(Says the guy who perpetually agonizes over wheel choices...)

My vote is #3, Trim rings with chrome lug nuts.

Not totally sold on it yet. I think I'm going to put the chrome lug nuts on and run it like that for awhile, it might grow on me.
