mrob member M Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 198 Maryland	Azmopardart and LAR414 have it right. Pennzoil Synchromesh is good stuff. Recently, I drained the 90W gear lube out of my A833 and put in the Synchromesh and it definitely shifts better.

Dennis_K super stock D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,065 SW Minnesota	I asked the same question when the time came to fill my trans in the Charger, and got the same response, so I went to my local Napa and asked for the Pennzoil synchromesh fluid. They didn't have it, but they had the Amsoil stuff and it said on the bottle that it meets all the same specs as the GM and Chrysler fluids, so I gave it a try and I'm very happy with the way it shifts. The only "problem" is that there is so little oil drag on the gears that the clutch disc doesn't stop spinning when I push the pedal, so I got into the habit of shifting into first and then quickly into reverse before backing out of my garage. Shifting directly into reverse resulted in gear clash noise.
