When Borg Instruments were around I asked them if they also had the clock cable that went with their Cuda rallye clock (2984182). They sent me what's in the picture and obviously it isn't. It measures about 16 1/8 inches. Can anyone tell me its application or if it's even Mopar. Thanks

What kind of clock runs on a cable? I think you mean Tachometer.

They have a cable that runs from the back of the clock to a stem or knurled knob under a “ledge” on the dash for setting the time in the clock. Sorry no idea how to ID them.

That looks to me like a 68-69 A-body Barracuda clock cable.
I have several just like that that I removed from dashes from those cars.
Second picture is what an e-body clock cable looks like, different in that it uses the reset knob and barrel screw, that screws on to threaded cable end as shown in last picture

It doesn't run the clock, it's used to set/reset the time.

Thank you mccannix, I got the correct one from PG Classics back when they became available.

I think 70 E body rallye dash used the clock cable. In 71 or 72 they changed it so the knob just came through the front of the clock lens. However, it does not look correct for the application. Im sure other cars used them like C body or B bodys.
