Anyone interested, come on out to see the MIDWESTERN COUNCIL OF SPORTS CAR CLUBS 2nd season event at BLACKHAWK FARMS RACEWAY, ROCTON, IL (just NW of Rockford, IL).
Gates open at 7:00AM. Registrations for HPDE/HSAX allowed at the gate (closes 8:00AM with driver's meeting by 8:15 AM).
I'll be running my T/A... come watch... better yet, enter and run the 2.0 mile course. Lunchtime track touring ($5).
I'll be the W2W Pace Car on both Sat and Sunday race days.

It was a hot/humid weekend (set up a tent for camping at the track)... Saturday-Monday. good turnout.. W2W racers Sat/Sun... HPDE/HSAX on Monday. I was W2W Pace Car Sat and Sun for multiple sessions.. fun and cool! Had a really good HPDE run against a new 392 Challenger... he couldn't pass me... driver's experience?
For Monday's HPDE (morning), I was an instructor for new students.. some hot very hot new modern cars! My car ran great except for new brakes that I'm not completely done with... installed the 11.75 Cordoba fronts with newly rebuilt factory calipers and braided lines. Recently installed DrDiff 10.7" rear disc brakes... surprises... factory rear sway bar brackets at leaf springs had interference (installed new Hellwig under-axle sway bar to resolve); and... the factory proportioning valve needs to be replaced ... rear brakes not functioning 100%... this is a critical issue... speaking with Cass/DrDiff about it.
Hard to get pictures when I'm driving...
Because of the brake's situation, I didn't run all through the day... July project to finish the brakes (proportioning valve issue)... may go for the front Viper setup sooner than planned
I'm running new TOYO R888R 255-50-16 tires on my lightweight Centerline 16x10 rims (F/R)... these are very good tires... they grip very well!... and can drive on the highway to/from the events!

Sounds like a great time, even if it was hot.
