Has anyone tried spacers on this intake? Any real life benefit to using a 1 to 2" spacer? I was looking at using the wilson tapered.
I have room to raise the throttle bodies, this is on a 528 w/ EFI.
I know FHO uses this intake on his builds but haven't seen any with spacers.

Thanks, john.

I was trying to research this myself but didn't find anything definitive. (whether or not spacers on a carb style efi intake would pick up anything).

I've tested them on stock intakes and on Indy 400-3 intake with the tapered reversion Wilson 1.5 inch thick spacers with carbs. up, there is power in the spacers on both scope
Your results may vary and may require retuning the motor some scope

Yes - made a huge difference - almost 2 MPH - evened out the cylinders and cleaned up idle - I used 1" 4 hole super sucker knock-offs made by pro-comp

It also helps to open up the plenum between the front and the back.

Yes, always seems to help with carbs but would it do anything with EFI is the question.

The spacers are around 40 bucks each at summit - add in some longer carb studs and gaskets - it became a cheap experiment that worked

Interesting I haven't heard that before on this Intake.

Thanks, John.
