The suits vs the dungarees. True then, true now.

WKRP, one of my all time favorite shows. RIP Herb.

Same here, one of my favorites. One of my favorite episodes, especially near the end, focus is on Herb and Jennifer.

I got hooked in reruns. Funny! The “Big Guy” and Herb were definitely my favorite characters. I also liked Mrs. Carlson‘s butler Hersch. Didn’t herb drive a Cordoba?

Yep, with fine Corinthian leather. That's the only vehicle I can recall being mentioned. I always envisioned Jennifer in a 450SL drop top. The Big Guy in a Town Car.

Hirsch and Mrs Carlson were hilarious. HIRSCH! Where have you been? Mardi Gras Madam...from "The Consultant".

I saw that news.
One of my favorite shows too. I bought the DVD set not too long ago. Yeah he has Cordboba. He mentions it several times and there's one or two episodes you see it also.

Love that show. One of my favorite episodes was when they were going to give away free live turkeys and was going to release them from a hot air balloon so people could catch them, only to realize after releasing them that turkeys don't fly! The radio description of the chaos was to say hilarious! laugh2

OMG yes the turkeys! "As God is my witness I thought turkeys could fly". Poor Big Guy.

I also remember an episode in which Mr. Carlson thought some powder cocaine that found it's way into studio was foot powder and numbed his feet.
