'68 3-speed wiper motor will it work in a '69 GTX?

I've been looking for a 3-speed wiper motor for my '69 GTX so I could put an original Air Grabber system on it. Today I needed to move (re; clean out) some parts from the garage to a shed/12'x24' building when I came across a '68 B-body 3-speed wiper motor part number 2889982 with a 3607 date code that I forgot I had. Will this work with my '69 GTX or do I need to make some mods or is there no way it will work and I'm SOL? Of course it will need cleaned up  and at some point professionally restored. At this point I'm not really concerned with the date code just want to get the AG on the car then go from there. Thanks in advance. Yeah it's a bute Clark and at this point I'm not sure if it even works....but at least it won't hit the Air Grabber  If it doesn't work I'll just Rain-X the windshield and drive home fast   Mike

If the P/N on the crank is 2580934 and says V-speed it would just bolt in. You would need the 3sp switch also
I have restored motors with the correct P/N

Part numbers for 69 A/B body would be
2983033 for cars built before Nov 68
2983116 for cars built after Nov 68
They do comingle
They are electrically and mechanically the same

imo. Put the right one on the car . Do it once do it right and be done
OE is probably 2983116 i think Bill where's the best place to find one? Would this wiper motor I have (posted) have a core or any value towards a '69 motor?? Thanks, Mike

And there are others out there restoring them or scour swap meets and or ebay
