We are currently having a billet block designed for our P5 heads. They will be able to build them for W-7 thru W-9 heads as well. Will be a tall deck only for now. If interested, let me know and I can keep you posted as they progress!

Based on Gen3 block with modifications
Gen 3 pan
Water or solid
Mopar Bell housing
Because high HP requires a bullet proof block

Marty would need them for his race program

From what I saw on Facebook, Visner is making them, so they will be a quality piece.

Why anyone would want a 59 degree billet block it beyond me, lol.

Best not to assume, and be brave enough to ask the question nobody else will. wink

Haha, very true. But I don't see someone running a 59* head dropping $8-12K on a billet block

Just curious. What advantage does the SBM have over the Gen 3 Hemi?

I am only speculating here, as Visner does a Gen III Hemi block already, they be modifying the CAD model etc to run the P5 heads and valve train. A possible cost saving measure, as they're not doing a complete from scratch project.

Correct. Same bore spacing. No need to start from scratch.

Gen 3 is an amazing engine at this level. But I am deeply vested with the P5. No need to change now. We went 4.25 on our second full hit. Block let go on 3rd. Numbers early showed a 4.19 was coming. But it dropped the crank out at the 330’ and still went a .37!

So A8 limit is/was 2750hp, where was Gen 3 at its limit?

Duster is in New York! Couldn’t afford two high end cars. Lol. Wish I had kept it.

A8 block I had was a one off from Mopar. Would have probably held up if we would have known we would make so much power and had changed main studs to larger size and better material. All the cast Gen 3 blocks fail around 2000 hp. Billet is good for at least 4000 hp

Thank you, that info/experience is not IMO widely known.

You got any surplus A8 stuff that is no longer needed/selling, PM me.
