what header works best on a 64 b body with motor in the stock position. Mine is a 64 330 440 engine bracket car. Had A body fender well on it when I got it and still does. having trouble with front tire rubbing.

We run the Hedman 78030 in our '63 with the 440 in the original BB position. They required virtually no denting to fit and work great. The reasonable price doesn't hurt either.

There's a Hedman I ran on my '64 - 440, Stealth heads - that fit fine, but the collectors were aimed at the T-bar crossmember and I had to have S-bends to connect to exhaust.
I don't recall the # off-hand but it's possible they'd have been better at the collector end on a 383.

I have Doug's D452 on my Savoy but they are not a true equal length tubes but they fit perfect and don't burn my plug wires .

not sure who's making a true equal length header for the early chassis and i'm not truly convinced equal length is necessary; especially if it's a bracket car. i do have 2" tti's on my '65 coronet with a 440 and the engine in the stock location. they fit like a glove. i also use studs to mount the headers. they've been on my car 17yrs and will probably be on there a few more years.

TTI is the way to go, never had headers go in so easy from under the car. Just turn the wheel in one direction to slide it up and then turn the other direction and slid up the other side. You need to clear the steering link when installing one side or the other.

Hedman still makes an equal length racing header in the Husler series, they offer them for raised exhaust port heads and stock ports.

I have an old set of Huslers with I think six parts on the left side and 4 parts on the right side. They looked like they would fit good but I never installed them completely.
