I need a chunk for it....sure grip clutch type with 3.23 hoping to find. Thanks for any help.

So I put a 2000 5.9 from a Durango in a 65 coronet.
For the throttle, I modified the 5.9 cable so it would work with the original gas pedal.
So I didn't change the mounting on the motor at all.
I kept my 727 and used an aftermarket system to control the efi.
The van setup is a little different, but nice because it tucks the power dr steering pump closer to the engine. Otherwise it sits under the battery tray.

A lot of the modern throttle bodies pull from the front, but most pull from the passenger side rather then from the driver side. The throttle cable has a bracket to bolts to the throttle body mounting bolts that the cable locks into, then the cable swoops around the front of the motor and turns back to the pedal. Mopar solved a lot of throttle cable problems when they did that. You should be able to adapt the modern throttle cable to the older gas pedal. If you can't, the 90s Dakota's had a bolt in gas pedal assembly that connected to the modern throttle cables.

Use the pedal from the van, I’m doing basically the same, 92 Van 360 and trans in a 79 lil red using pcm and all. If it don’t work right I’ll slap on the 340 LD and TQ. A long time ago I remember someone selling an adaption to use the tbi and their pcm on just about any engine. Cheap to $4 or 500

Yes it pulls from the front on the passenger side, that's why I was thinking I could just turn it around...then it would pull to the rear on the drivers side like I need. Using the van pedal may work but then I have a extra long cable that's not really needed. I have a 98 Dakota here need to see what it has. (Edit: Looks like that might work!) Yes I plan to use the van PCM and wiring, I understand the PCM just needs a start, run, and ground from the original car. Would love to put the van instrument panel in too. Looks like it might fit.....

We swapped a '96 Dakota 5.2 into an '84 Ramcharger. As I recall, we used the Dak cable with the '84 pedal.
