just got back from a nostalgia super stock race a little while ago,and all i can say is that is one hellauva fast track.
got my all time best there today and i was deadly consistent.
track operators, management are all top notch.
racing was only $25.00 today. i went 3 rounds and 3 time trials.
i think i like it better than Atco.
this is the 1st time in a long time since i have been there.i just wish it was alittle closer but ill definitely go there more often now.

i like that the staging lanes are all downhill, the guys at the starting line did a great job,

i felt it was plenty long,no problems. its not like island dragway where you really have to stand on them.  cant wait to go back this year for another ECNSSA race.

yes he did, and he did it with a 2 step. electronics which is not allowed,
also a sheetmetal intake with 2 holley carbs. i ran very close to my number but i was no match for a car that has a 2 step.
it was like bringing a knife to a gun fight. plus 14 x 32 tires. our association specifically says no bigger than 10.5 tire and no electronics and no sheetmetal intakes.
but because 422 sponsored the event, i guess we have to play by their rules.
i was very consistent yesterday just got beat by the R/T.
1st time out this year and 1st time driving this car in almost 2 years.

now chris,
he ran the same car at the NMCA race last weekend... the car is legal. It does not have 14x32's... it may have a sheetmetal intake, but technically they are legal 9.25 and faster. he is allowed to run a rev limiter because he runs a stick. holley carbs are legal on fords as well. i dont think it was the 2 step that beat you. the first round bye you had was a given had a .148 light, and the second round you were a sitting duck with that .171 light. Johnny Dimino is good, ya gotta be quicker than that. He had an .017!

your right casey, my R/t was off with the 63.
the 65 dodge reacts faster. i just have to get use to the car again.
hes a good racer.
