Like it says. Does anyone make a GOOD set of headers for a Hemi in a 64/65 Plymouth? Auto(non push button smile ) if it matters. Or am I better off just building a set? Not looking for every ounce of performance but say something that can handle 950ish HP with an Indy head.

Which K member is in the car? I'm sure you are running a motor plate, but where the engine is mounted will be key. TTi, should have something.

I was gonna say TTI, but they only have a 2.25" primary header w/ 3.5" collectors for stock port location heads in that bodystyle. down

TTi makes a 2.250 header for it but with a aftermarket no torsion bar front end. Stick a stock 1966 UP B body K member under it. Problem solved.

Al,

You have the skill, so build a set. You'll thank yourself later, and less curse words LOL.

I think whatever fits an a-body will fit an early b-body

iagree On 1967 to 1973 A bodies with hemi motors with the tranny mount in the stock A body locations, I've swap more than one set of Hooker chassis headers between those cars and the 1966 to 1971 B and E bodies shruggy

The TTI 2 1/4 fit real good on my 64 Dodge with Edelbrock Victor jr. Heads - Its on a motor plate - You can order the headers from TTI with a race collector verses the 3 1/2" I can have my headers off in about 30 minutes on the lift

J was looking for an easy option, but you know with me nothing is easy.

Evil1 Yes we can build them and have, but honestly Jay's suggestion is what usually happens. Just way quicker and usually not alot more $$

Looking like the Indy head is going to cause the issues here from what I read anyway. Thanks for the replies, just thinking aloud right now as I continue to look for a new hoopty

I have used TTI on my 500" wedge 64 Plymouth with same setup as yours. They were the easiest headers I have ever installed. Turn the steering wheel in one direction and install header, then turned the wheel the other direction and installed the other side. Would buy them again for a 64,65 Plymouth. I would think with the Hemi would be even easier because of the head exhaust angle. I have a set on my 68 Hemi Dart and fit in fairly easy also, being an A body and less room.

I have the headers from my indy heads, but they are 2.5 inch with 5 inch collector for an E body with a Bob's front end.

The best under chassis set I have ever taken a good look at are the ones on the N.Super Stock 1965 Belvedere owned by the guy in Canada. It is the car Tom Orlando use to own.and raced. Guys like Jim Hale, Jack Werst, Joe Teuton, all owned this car but I think Teuton never raced it. It is a Legal SS/BA car but runs in N Super Stock with a Big Hemi and Mil. Stage V Heads. If you want contact information of the owner PM me.
