Nice work Pat!

What are you using to weld the aluminum brake duct scoops? Spool gun in a MIG?

Larry, Easy to mistake my ugly welds for a spool meg welder;-) but I’m slowly getting more comfortable with TIG welding as long as I know I’m going to grind and polish the welds down;-)
Thanks
Pat

Pat your wheel opening stainless moldings are they original or reproductions? If reproductions what company and how did they fit? Thanks.

They are original, just needed a little massaging and a good polishing. I think there are 2 manufacturers for them 1 bad and 1 ok.
Good luck!
Pat

Mounted the front bumper, and painted & installed the front brake air ducts. The air ducts are inconspicuous painted black.
Thanks
Pat

Man I'll say they do. Very stealthy.

I can’t help but think that you could have used the signal light opening for your duct work, build a faux screen that looked like a lens and built an led light into them.

The repro parking light fit and look much better then the ones I used 15 years ago on my 1st Charger.
Thanks

The reproduction Map pocket cufflinks did not look as nice as my originals (3rd pic) Unfortunately removing the originals doesn’t leave enough of the stud to reattach to the new panels. So I used my Weld Mount studs and epoxy on longer threaded studs making the cufflinks installation very simple. I think the 68 map pocket is a little big for today’s maps;-)

Where did you get the map pocket chrome squares. I did my interior 10 years ago and Legendary no longer had them.

Legendary‘s carpet set fits great with a few modifications and the addition of some foam to fill the gap around the modified shifter tunnel. It’s nice that they make this carpet extra long at the firewall so you cannot see any of firewall. Just letting it relax for a few days with a some 25 pound lead bags.
Thanks
Pat

I decided to reuse the original door sills. The repro‘s don’t look as nice as the originals after polishing, even with a few dents and scratches.
Thanks

As a serious 68 fan and Bullitt Charger owner myself, this is the most amazing Charger I have ever seen. Been following the thread for 5+ years and am anxiously waiting to see the final result. Next up would be seats. Bone stock or modified?
