I hate those damn things, but when I was working in the shop McGuards were what most seemed to be using. You moving to the rough side of town soon?

Put 1 LH stud on each wheel. Fooled many a guy even back in-the-day.

Would probably work, but can you even get LH studs? Not available for old cars, can't imagine you'd find something for a new car.

I have $100 deductible for comprehensive on my car insurance policies.
I’ve yet to have anyone steal my wheels, but if they even did, I’ll get a new set of wheels and tires for $100.
I’m more worried about catalytic converter theft, I’m interested in a guard for the one on my truck, but I guess I should just let insurance deal with that also if it happens.

Keep one of these in the trunk or back seat.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

And how do you keep track of what stud it is when it's all back together?

If you visit your local mopar dealer and ask them for wheel locks, they will set you up. I paid $37 for mine after tax and they installed them at no charge during inspection. Side note: they are packaged as Mopar parts, but they say McGaurd right on them.

Stamp it on the end: X L or any marking

I'd be more worried about how they remove the wheels and what other damage they do
