Ok serious answer. 10 inch Channel Lock pliers.
Note, I specified brand name. Channel locks are not wrenches--they are pliers. The guy who had my job before I did apparently did not know the difference, either. 10 years later I am still finding nuts, bolts, and hardware that looks like a dog chewed on them. Some of the other guys said the whole time he was there, they never saw him use a socket or wrench on anything--he just carried around a set of channel locks and used them for everything....

Anyone have these? Sort of channel lock’ish, plyer/wrench . . . Absolutely love them, though I don’t believe I’ve ever used them as a wrench in a traditional sense. Used them heaps for holding things, flattening a bent (fill in the blank), and even pressing one small piece to another (incrementally of course since the adjustments have a limited jaw motion). Best part is they have a smooth jaw and don’t leave any chewed up surface.

Used properly they don't damage fasteners. Many people don't realize that there is a correct way to hold them for loosening and a different way for tightening. BTW a hammer or a torch aren't wrenches either.
