I recently got a flat hood and deck lid for a 69 Coronet 500, they had bodywork and primer on them, look almost ready to shoot paint. Know idea what these B-Body parts are worth, but pretty sure they are not repopped and and rust free. I will get pics up when I return home from my latest transport. I also have the tail panel chrome that goes around the triple tail lights.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I think the decklids are expensive as they are hard to find not rotted out along the bottom? I'll start the bidding at $400. shocked

The hoods fit 68 and 69 cars? Flat hood I'd say $200ish.

Yeah, seems a rust-free Coronet trunk lid is expensive; at least the asking prices are.
Saw one that was $1,000 - original paint, no damage - but I don't know that market.
Flat hoods, not so much, it seems.
'69 has an added dropped center that '68 doesn't, not sure about striker & safety latch locations.

68 is the expensive one $1000+ for a rust free one. 69 $200-350 based on condition.

The 68 and 69 hoods are the same. In 69 they added a trim piece to the front edge that screws on.

Yeah, not exactly. The under bracing is different.
Jim, I am pretty sure you can get $500 out of a good decklid. I think I got $200 out of a rust free flat hood a couple years ago.

Hood is pretty much worthless. 68 deck lid is the hard one to find, 69 should be $300-500 depending on how long you want to keep it.
