Was a rim blow steering wheel (the 3 spoke type like on e-bodies) an option for a-bodies in 1971, specifically a Duster?

Yes, and the last year of production as well for this option...

Check Hamtramck Historical website option guides

I know it was available on 71 Darts. And it was part of a fairly popular trim package where most core rim blows come from.

Plymouth and Dodge don’t always parallel on available options.

Strange deal. It wouldn’t have been my first guess... BUT

Says only available in upscale Scamp 2-door...

... but not available on Duster, Duster 340, or 4-door Scamp

The sportier Tuff Wheel was available on Duster and Duster 340 only shruggy

From Hamtramck Historical link: https://www.hamtramck-historical.co...ipDataBook/1971/71_Valiant_Duster_22.jpg

People often take images from HH, but the actual link to that page is www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/DealershipDataBook/1971/71_Valiant_Duster_22.jpg

There have also been later additions to optional and added equipment during any model year though.

What is available on HH (so far) does not necessarily show all that became available (or unavailable) later on in the same model year.

So.........

Does anyone have anything that says or shows otherwise?

Speaking of rim blow wheels, where these available on 71 Challenger? The dealer data book doens't show them as available, but at the same time, there could be had on 71 Cuda. Were the S83 wheels available later in the model year, and not shown on the dealer books?
