Not sure where I should post this question. My AAR was sold new from a dealer in Miami, it was a sales bank car. Florida only use a rear license plate. Did the dealer typically leave the bracket for the front plate on the car?
Thanks in advance

My brothers 1971 Duster sold new in / near Daytona area.
He found an old picture of the time period and he 'thinks' may be his actual car. And the front of it is blank

The op question was about the license plate bracket, Dusters didn't have a plate bracket.

It really depends, some dealers would leave them in the car, some dealers removed them and some installed them. It's a crap shoot.

Don't know about Florida, but California requires both plates. That didn't stop the original selling dealer of my old 2004 BMW from tossing the front bracket in the trunk. Fortunately the original owner put the front plate on the bracket and tossed it back in the trunk...Plates are sent from DMV weeks after purchase so there is no reason for the dealer to do anything anyway.

I thought it was the same as now that if there was no front plate usually they didn't install the plate hardware.
