Very nice looking. I’d be interested to see underneath.
$45K would get on a plane today.

That is the beauty of cars like this, back in the day. So many options to choose from. A lady wanted a sporty E body for a new driver, didn't have the need to go fast, but wanted reliability with the 318, and also to look good getting there. So she orders a high impact (FC7) color with stand out white interior and top. She wants to feel the air in her hair, so she orders not just the convertible top, but factory A/C to boot! Along with a few other cool options (power wndows, buckets, console, etc) and she has a really nice ride. If that mileage is original...could be the best 318 convertible Challenger out there?? shruggy

My flat hood 70 JH27N0B convertible is a loaded executive lease car (AC, PW, AM/FM, etc) and I have it insured for $70K, but think if I tried to sell it, it would bring closer to $60K.
I wouldn’t sell it for any amount though as it’s irreplaceable!
I think that 71 would be valued in low 50s.

Would have been a rust bucket for the speedo to rust like this:

For that price, I'd rather have this one and stick in a Hemi and find PW to make it somewhat comparable:

Mine has ac,power top and power windows! I paid $ 1800 for it. It's not a survivor, it's a cruiser I restored 18 years ago, but it's not 77 grand either!

That guy has a lot of cars like that. I mean a lot. One of them was a 71 formal roof car. Had a weird bid history on eBay. I liked it but not at his ask, most on here agreed it was strong for a Chevy resto, less than stellar color, incorrect parts here and there, etc. but was nice presentable car. “Sold” twice on eBay somehow over the winter.

This one has that rusty looking speedo, plus the rusty fender tag. I’m not sure where he sourced his stuff, he does sound to be from the NE and a guy in my circle up that way thought he knew of him.

All his car have quarky features and many have off beat color combos. Like white on green. That sort of thing. Most have rare options. JH 340 cars and such.

I want my fair share
