I just bought a 383 engine that was in an A-body either Dart GTS or Barracuda and has the VIN 8B157142 but was going to go in a 69 GTS so it is painted orange. If you own this car the engine will be offered to you, if not I will put it in a 68 GTS body I have laying around, it is NOT for sale to anyone without the matching VIN.

Looking for the number matching 440 engine to our 70 Cuda was last known to be in a 1970 burnt orange/brown challenger with license plates 1HRM440.

Car was sold about 10 years ago out of Santa Rosa area. Believe the car stayed in California but may be out of state now. Vin on the block would be BS23U0E130248 or partial vin of 0E130248.

We can trade a rebuilt 70 date 440 with aluminum heads plus cash or just straight up cash in exchange for the numbers matching motor.

Old post, but the cars owner is trying to find block 0B 300417 - I gave him the phone number when it was for sale on Craiglist, but it had already sold, this was around 2018 or so.........

I just picked up a 340 and 727 trans in South Florida vin numbers match and are 2B501431 I am not sure what it original was in but it lookls like E Body motor mounts on it. It is complete carb to pan with exhaust manifolds and all a/c parts on motor. Looks like it has never been apart.

I have been helping a family friend, and original owner, try to locate the original 383 for his 1969 GTS. The engine was pulled in the early 1980's in Saskatchewan, Canada and was put into a early 1970's charger (yellow). Anyhow, the VIN numbers from the car to note are 9B241122. Please contact me if you ever stumble on the block! The car is all original and very low miles but missing the original engine.

I picked up a 1971 340 engine with vin number 1B274393 Not sure of body model it could have come from. Maybe Barry will chime in.

From a 1971 Cuda 340, so the only two possible VINs for the car it came from would be BS23H1B274393 or BS27H1B274393
