Looking for my original 383 block for my '68 RR.

There's one for sale on another web site so I have not physically seen it. Just pictures

The block was cast 3/8/68

Based on the data pad it's D = 1968 assembled 3/21 2nd shift

Could that engine have been installed on my car with an SPD date of 3/22 ? I know SPD dates are not hard fast but ......

I'm attempting to get ahold of the owner of the block to see if there is a partial VIN, unsuccessful so far.
I know after 1-68 they were stamping the VIN on the top of the back of the block on the mounting flange for the bell housing., just not sure if the date sequence is possible.

Any thoughts

no "HP" stamp = not a Road Runner engine .......
a 1968 Road Runner's engine & transmission is stamped with the partial VIN ALL YEAR

was your RR built in St. Louis? Do you have a broadcast sheet?
