There have been a few houses here now that it's been reported sold at 400K over asking nearly doubling the pice. And for at least the last year they've said don't bother with inspections because the seller will move on to the next buyer.

I'lm wanting to build at some point but with lumber prices 4X what they were even last fall I won't be any time soon.
