Anyone have a part number for a Dorman (or other) kit that they know for sure fits and works?

Thanks!

I don't know if he's on here...but maybe try Mopar Leo on FABO. He's the door hinge expert.

You might try posting over at sweptline.org in the body forum.

Tried that, email address already in use.....

I searched for an old thread I was in, found it to recover my username, after that a password re-set was possible. :-)

My last post there was back in 2009. shock

If you want another option, Vintage power wagons show that they have a hinge pin and bushing kit for D & W models. They categorize these under Vehicle Type G. The part number is #CC6013035 and can be found on page 87 here...Linky

Most of the cabs used on the vintage Power Wagons were the old 39-47 cabs. Dodge used those cabs on military trucks up through the end of the 1968 model year. Dodge did use the regular truck cabs after 69, be sure the hinge pin will work on the 69 - 71 cab. I would call and talk with someone at Vintage Power Wagons to be sure, they are good people. Be sure to tell them you have a 70 or 71 Power Wagon. The hinge pins should be the same, 4x4 or 2x4. Gene
