If it’s a big block you can use the same mountingbrackrt from 440 motor homes. It bolts to the rear vally pan rail and is made for the box to mount to Won't work on this big block. Hemi's don't have pan rails...

9.92 @ 135mph with a 350 shot of nitrous and 93 octane pump. 1.43 60 ft. 3,750 lbs.

I like the factory stock look under the hood, but I also like the reliability and low maintenance of an electronic ignition system. I once hid a control box in the washer reservoir on a '69 Charger but that was easy since it's essentially a hollow box sitting on top of the inner fender. I would prefer not to mount the box under the dash but will do if necessary. I would also prefer not to mount it under the battery tray. So where is everyone hiding their boxes on a '71 B-Body? first... WHICH ignition control box ? if using a Stock kind Ignition box, there is a bracket to be attached on rear rail of the block ( if BB ) 71 B body gets plenty of room on fender behind the headlights thought!

Well, looks like there was just enough room inside the long thin washer reservoir. Petronix is good but I like the added features of the Rev-in-ator box. Oh, just noticed is a Rev-N-Nator! nice place to hide it!

I would have thought putting the box there would be too close to a heat source, no?

RS -- I have always had my ECU (chrome Chrysler box) relocated under the dash.. actually just above the pedals... out-of-sight... just had to extend and splice the wires from the control box. Also, by getting out of the engine bay, not only does it appear stock, but the ECU stays cooler as is needed. I've had it this way since about 1978 on my car (Challenger). There are circular grommeted holes for the wires under the master brake firewall assembly that I've passed the wires through. The ECU is simply screwed to the inside firewall above the brake pedal area... out-of-sight.

Mitch, Plan B was to go under the dash. You might not know but the Revinator has a button on the box to set the RPM limit. Is it easier to climb under dash and push the button or pop 3 screws under the hood? Guess it depends on your age and flexibility. I'm older (59) and not as flexible so under hood it is.

RS -- As for the Rev-Limiter feature, set-it and forget it after you determine the max RPM limit. I have an adjustable Mallory RPM tach that I use for setting the limits.
I'm fortunate to still be flexible.. at 64.. and stay fit best as possible...
