Couldn't agree more. Todd has been great to work with for build. I have recommended him to my friends.

Ok

Here is another observation, maybe just a useless "factoid" grin

This is a wedge block, and has the wedge side motor mount lugs cast and drilled.
But notice the 3-point Hemi pattern on the block. Just drill points and a milled area.

Nice piece, Greg! I know you've been wanting a big chunk of alum up front for a very long time!

why are the water passages [shown a couple of replies ago] in the head gasket [cometic] so much larger than the block holes ?
is that the shape of the coolant passage of "most" heads commonly used with this block ?
if the head holes are close to the size of the block holes, would/could this shape in the gasket have the potential to cause cavitation or steam pockets ?
or am i WAY overthinking stuff here ?
TIA for setting me straight on this.

Here is a picture of a factory Chrysler BB deck. It should answer your question.

I just saw this Feb 11 post from Bill Mitchell Products.
I hope the blocks work their way up the east coast to Todd Marsh in NC.

They used to be in Ronkonkoma NY.

Dwayne, when Steve and I went out to BMP in ronkonkoma to pick up his block a few years ago, we met with Bill’s son, who was handling things up here already. That was about 2 years ago. He mentioned to us then, that they were going to move the operation down to Florida. His father was already down there at that point.

the only thing i see different from my old block is the threaded holes in the lifter valley next to the rocker arm supply galley. i assume those are drilled into the oil passage
