Will a standard height Ritter/dragpak intake, carb and aircleaner fit under a 73 Duster hood with a std height sixpack scoop?
Or are they just to tall in standard form? if that is the case would the 1½ lower version of the manifold work?
How about the Arrow/prefix intake?

Oh and feel free to post pics,we all love pics of these things.

The height of the short Ritter intake from the flange to flange (head flange to carb flange) is 7 inches. I needed 3 1/2 inches to the bottom of the scoop on a 66 Bbody using the TTI mounts. I would say it will be close. The motor will want all the height you can get to make max power. My experience is the taller the intake the more power/torque you will make. Of course your combination may vary.

John Ritter told me he believes that someone was running a short Ritter dragpak unit under a stock E body hood. After installing my Prefix unit, which is several inches shorter, I just can't see it happening.

Are you running a carb, or a 4150 base throttle body? Accufab sells a 4150 throttle body that is only 2" total height if it's close.

yes it does, I have a dart sport with six pack scoop. I run the prefix intake and its tall with a 1 inch spacer and air cleaner all cleared and ran great.

Thank you

I also have the Cascar Prefix intake. Curious, did you add the spacer for a little extra horsepower? Hoping mine fits on my 68 Cuda with six pack hood.

it seemed to run just a little crisper with the spacer. I am now converted to port injection and throttle body. not sure if i will need to run the spacer with this deal. I highly doubt it.

Thank you
