Time to put a fire suppression system in my car. Who do you recommend? What do I need to know? Looks like 2 nozzles under the hood and 2 in the cockpit?

Its always been my thinking, two separate systems is best, one for the drivers seat area and the fuel cell, and another for the motor, both activated separately, if weight and money will allow. Also allows for optimized agents. For peace of mind, its hard for me understand why so few cars to have a fire suppression system. A smart decision IMO.

Good point on the separate systems.
Guy I used to work with had an 8 second Chevelle. Had an engine fire during a run. The fire suppression system saved the car.

I always use the drag race model SAFECRAFT 10# cable pull systems, 1 nozzle pointed at me, 1 nozzle in front and 1 nozzle in back of motor. More than enough protection.

I have seen that fire suppression system battery cut-off system before, interesting.
