A couple times a month I'll stay out too late on a wing Wednesday. If I'm not feeling hyped up on my way to work, I stop at Speedway for a Rockstar Recovery Lemonade. Not carbonated, very little sugar, very tasty, and puts me back to my usual self.

I get my caffeine from iced tea, no sweetener. Used to get it from Mountain Dew (still do on the road from time to time as there is no quality control on fast food tea and it usually sits long enough to go rancid).

USED to have the Screamin Energy Max Hit Maximum Strength Energy Drink in the morning which tasted ok but I was never impressed with it and was pricy. I found that discontinuing consumption of alcoholic beverages and increased consumption of nuts, seeds, and berries definitely helped me feel better.

Monster, but I don't drink them casually. Only when I need the kick in the ass on a late night photo processing binge. I could never wrap my mind around people consuming those things as a thirst quencher.

My daughter drinks monsters. I took 1 sip and told her it tasted like cat piss and I have never drank cat piss. I can't stand them. Use to drink lots of pop but gave that up. Maybe if I am lucky I drink one pop a week and even that its rare. No coffee can't stand the smell. . So it is water with the once and awhile mix up lemonade from concentrate and just add sugar for taste. OJ once and a great while for breakfast. Other wise it is sometimes chocolate milk and whole raw milk.

Monster Rebab Yellow. Low calories, no carbonate, low energy, mostly a tea and lemonade mix. Bitter like a beer, without the buzz.

As you can see I'm not on every day all the time. I drink my coffee BLACK. SLOW brewed. I dont really drink princess brand coffee like Starbucks or dunkin doughnuts. We try and buy batch style coffee and grind our own too. I like the local roasters here in Central PA, but I like Jim Beam straight coffee too( on the weaker side, but flavorful), chicory coffee from LA like Lafin DuMont has some octane but the flavor is not for me. The way you brew your Joe also matters. This dude loves his French press. Energy drinks are the equivalent of having a meth hobo urinate in your mouth after a week long binge on the stuff so you can get a few hours with more than normal energy only to pay for it later. "Hey buddy, spare some change?".....

I would grab a couple cases and bring them for Dart Girl at the Nat's and the Classics and always have a cooler with lots on ice for anyone that needed a "lift" or "WIIINGS" wink Still like the original "adult" flavor but the tuty fruity flavors are good for a change. The other is Rock Star for the other in-house team. The ZERO is wicked and will have you gritting your teeth if you over do it. nervous

I would not say its on a "regular" basis? Maybe once a week?
When I do its both the Monster brand:
Monster Rehab - Lemonade/iced tea - Arnold Palmer style - great as is or with some vodka
Monster Ultra Violet (grape) - as is, or again with vodka...see a theme...lol

I can't love the sight of this pallet enough, lol.

I've had most of the energy drinks and Red Bull is by far my favorite. Monster gives me the shakes. The sugar free Red Bulls hit the spot and I don't feel like death after drinking them. Red Bull also seems to have the most upscale presence of all of them.

Pale Roader would be disappointed in some of you guys. laugh2

He railed against soda. I can only imagine the descriptive terms he might have come up with to describe the evils of energy drinks.

McCafe is good. Strong but not bitter. Not expensive like Dunkin.

I never drink Starbucks. sick
