So let him put it out there for sale and see what offers he gets. that'll answer it all.

I think too $4000 isn't out of line - for anyone who has something like say a basket case V-Code or AAR project, buying this car whole would be a huge help just to have all the right nuts and bolts and miscellaneous pieces which would otherwise nickle and dime you to death. The dash alone on this car is worth $1500 all day long. The days of $500 complete parts cars are unfortunately long gone.

Still good buys to be had, but you have to get outside and find them in person vs online where everything is much higher these days. Rural areas here have old cars sitting around if you get off the high traffic streets.

YES & there is some argument what color the tail panel was painted on a Gran Coupe with a rear rubber bumper argent VS. black argue

Didn't M46 cars get the black panel too?

Rear window and drip moldings look restorable.

I bought an M46 just a few years ago for 1500 that looked just like this.

Is there a fender tag picture of this car? Picture of build sheet?

Figure out a price yet?

saw the comment on what came on the tail panel of a non BS Barracuda if ordered with front and rear elastomeric bumpers. maybe this will help- I had a 1970 Barracuda gran coupe, 383 auto, a/c, red/red, A22 rubber bumpers. YES, tail panel was BLACK and it had the tail panel surround moldings just like a Cuda. that car is still out there, only sold it about 10 years ago.

forgot to post above that when I bought the car, I wanted to know the answer also. so I inspected every square inch of the tail panel to see where the tail panel molding plastic retainers protrude and if the holes where factory made. no doubt, all holes for the moldings were factory, not someone adding it on the tail.

Cars like this are the reason why Barracudas can be so interesting.

Yes, however, M46 cars got the 3-piece 'Gran Coupe' tail moulding (quarters & decklid) rather than the 4-piece 'Cuda style
