Been years since I’ve posted on this forum. I knew everyone would give constructive feedback here. I’m considering these heads for my 77 Dodge W150. I plan to use the Atomic MSD full injection which is new to my world. The plan is to have the truck as a fun street toy. Mainly for cars shows and cruising around town. Most likely I’d build a stroker, nothing over 500 inches. Actually the whole truck thing is new to my world. For those that know me, my 64 High Strung car has been my live for the last 14 years...

Thanks, it’s been a heck of a journey. Been tweaking on this thing for years. The 10.5 tire has brought many challenges over the years, mainly fun. I’m racing my brother in the enclosed picture. I believe he ran 8.21 vrs my 8.52. This truck is a completely different world for me. My teenage boys love trucks so I thought why not a early mopar for a project. First thing they said was “dad this thing is a dog”. Guess racers are family bread

That is one awesome truck . I like that stance it has . Very clean as well . I do remember your car also . Do you still run NSS races ? Goodwin power ? If so I met you at one of the Muncie races the last couple years . Thanks for posting . Gary

Thanks for the updates and good luck with the new truck! Hate to hijac but you have the '64 down into the 8.5's now?!!! Is it still 3400lbs? What are the newest motor details? if you don't mind.

Nice truck!
It would be a hoot with a street friendly 541 torque monster like I'm screwing together for my Imperial. No doubt it is of similar weight. A High Strung rev happy engine would be a wee bit out of place in that thing.

We are brothers and sisters doing time on the planet for better or worse. I'll take the better, if you don't mind.

I Love the truck! Very clean and perfect candidate for a sneaky stroker. Please post some more pics when you can. Id like to do a truck build as well.

As for the TF 240 heads, I used them on a 505 pump gas stroker in a 72 Challenger - w a 248@.050 solid flat tappet, 950 carb, 4speed and 3.55's and it was an absolute blast on the street. No dyno numbers, but endless torque and tire shredding power in any gear. Highly recommend the TF heads.

No major changes to engine. Weight is very close to 3400. Engine is 588. 572-13 heads,Sheet metal manifold, and cam from Goodwin. Carbs are billet Pro systems. Makes 1200 hp NA. Ladder bar, 10.5 tire.

Pro Trans is custom built per shared specs from Dave and myself. Had many headaches and transmission failures over the years.

That’s totally awesome! My bother runs TF heads on his Comet and his car rocks. My boys are now to the age that they want to help build an engine. I’m totally jazzed they want to help. A good strong street engine will be perfect for the truck. Thanks for input
